Hello again! It's been a minute... or a year and a bit.
I had to put Notorious Creatures on the back burner for a bit, but it was always on my mind, and I was always working on new ideas, drawings, sketches, colours, everything that popped into my head. I tried a few times to get rolling but found I just couldn't keep momentum with everything else being juggled.
In January '24, I lost my wife of 12 years, the mother of our son. He was the reason and inspiration for all of this, and now, as we miss her every day, it's an added boost of motivation and love to do this for her as well. She always believed in Notorious Creatures and me, and that it could grow into something amazing. That's always been the goal, and now I am determined to make it so.
As we've grown accustomed to this new normal, as much as possible, I want to really give this a push and make the most of it. New routines, new plans, new memories, I can somewhat settle into a mode that allows me to create freely and find the time to put things together.
Sparatic posts and random pop-ups, teasing things to come, were all very wishful thinking, and I thought it would motivate me to get rolling if it was out there. I just couldn't.
